If we have 30 people we can get this cast extension to 28 to add 4 more people onto the cast this gives others a huge opportunity to prove themselves to be a true all star and on top of that it balances out the seasons as some seasons have more representatives than others.

This allows everyone to have a fair shot to do well and on top of that It keeps the All star season interesting.
