Ban the use of choke prong and shock collars on animals in Western Australia.

"Prong and shock collars are often used as a training method by means of inflicting pain on an animal, predominantly a dog to modify its behaviour. The collars can cause serious physical injuries, especially when misused, such as puncture wounds, burns, (as photographed) sprained necks, oesophageal damage, vertebrae damage and even death by strangulation."
These dangerous, abusive collars should be banned in Western Australia (NSW, Victoria and SA already have).  Selling and using such items condones and contributes to animal abuse and should be added as such under the Animal Welfare Act, which is coming up for review this year. We, as dog lovers and responsible animal owners, ask DFAWA to PLEASE urgently address this issue when reviewing the act as many animals are subjected to cruel and unwarranted pain. Thank you for your support, dogs deserve far better! If we do not speak up for them who will?
