This lecture series and course, War and Peace (Humanities 302), educates students about international conflicts and their resolutions, the efforts required to maintain peace, and the impact of strife on the global environment. Current geopolitical actions are analyzed and explored challenging students to understand our nation and the world around them. As universities seek to internationalize their curricula and their global awareness, this course is significant in informing our students as future leaders. Sonoma State should take pride and foster this course as it is unique to the university in both its scope and its offering through the Humanities program.
