I’ve worked too hard this year to just receive a pass. However, I don’t feel like I am in a good mental place to be writing exams that will support the grades I’ve worked so hard for.

As a fourth year student graduating and planning on applying to grad school in the near future, I am unable to utilize the pass/fail option that Queen's University has offered. Giving students the option to have a grade freeze allows students to have records that demonstrate a fair representation of the work they have done prior to the pandemic which has negatively impacted many students.

A pass/fail option is insufficient in assisting students who have worked hard throughout the semester to achieve good grades which now may be negatively affected by this pandemic.

Students at this level work hard for their marks and electives. Their current marks should stand as they won’t change much.

I’m signing because it’s unfair to ask students to produce good work during a pandemic

My final course. Now I can barely complete it with 4 kids at. Straight A’s that I worked so hard for - all going down the drain. Follow Ottawa U’s example.
