Govo students demanding lockers

For years Governor Stirling Senior High School upper school students have been requesting lockers for storage of school equipment and belongings. Repeatedly the request has been denied by the schools principal Dr P. Putrino with no clear reasons other than they can be easily damaged. Year 11 and 12 students are having to carry vast weights of textbooks, equipment, resources, stationary and necessary equipment every day to and from school and then around the school for the entire day. The baggage weight is common at around 10-12 Kg. Its time the school administration understands the real issue affecting the health of its students and agrees to move with almost every other school in the state and provides lockers to its senior students. Will you rally with the schools students to help get lockers?
