Bookstore is the hub of a community.

Parents face difficulty in buying items for their children like stationeries and tools for class assignments or printing assignments given by teachers since PdPR resumed.

Most universities and colleges send soft copy file to print at home! Some do not have printers at home or run out of ink, thus making it difficult for the students to print their notes or complete their assignments.

Parents, teachers and students are frustrated as they cannot buy materials to support home-based teaching and learning due to the closure of bookstores.

Why this sector? By closing bookstore, corporate is sending a message to the community. They have strongly supported the bookstore since it's opening day and now, corporate is turning its back on the community. Hey, you up there - sitting on your bonus - Are you saying that members of this community don't read?

Why this store? Do you think that members of this community only want bubble tea and cigarette?

Why this sector? And no, don't blame technology. Students still have to purchase books for mandatory reading lists. And not everyone has adopted to swiping. Some of of work on computers all day and want to unplug, thumb through a good book and enjoy the sounds of the pages turning.
