Help Meredith Walk Across The Stage At Graduation With Her Twin Brother

Meredith is supposed to be graduating high school this weekend with her twin brother.  She is currently 6 credits short of receiving her diploma due to battling both colon cancer and brain cancer. Central High School's principal, Mike Talley, along with the superintendent of Rapid City Schools, Dr. Lori Simon, refuse to let Meredith walk across the stage because she hasn't earned those 6 credits yet.  All this family is asking is for Meredith to be given the ONCE IN A LIFETIME opportunity to walk across that stage, with her brother, and all of her friends that she grew up with, knowing that she will not actually receive her diploma until her credits are complete.

Please help me show this school district that sometimes rules can be bent for situations out of a person's control.  Meredith has already missed so many firsts in her life due to her battle. Let's try and not let walking across that graduation stage be another thing that cancer has taken from her!

No, I do not know Meredith or her family.  I do not live in the same state as them, however, I am the mother of a child that had cancer, and it shatters my heart to see that she is having to fight for this, as well as her life.
