Ms. Silberman's permanent stay at Clarkstown North

In concern of the leave of Samantha Silberman on January 26th of 2018, prioritized students of Clarkstown High School North have strong feelings against this action. We believe that by changing the teacher the year in which we take the regents, our grades and overall GPA would fall below what we are capable of as hardworking students. Silberman is more than capable of finishing the school year and further helping students come out of their comfort zones and expand their knowledge of English. Students have become accustomed to Silberman's style of teaching and have benefitted from it. By disrupting the consistency, it would be like starting all over again. She had led us to draw conclusions in which we couldn't reach on our own in this school year, and we feel her role for the rest of the year as our teacher will lead us to success. We feel it is in your best interest to respect our pleas to keep our teacher, as our grades and success in our junior year are extremely important to us. Not only us as juniors but also many of her sophomores feel as though this change will only affect them negatively. We love Silberman and don’t want to see her leave!!!
