Close Bellports in school learning and go back to fully remote learning
I just think that it’s ridiculous to have us students still go to school in this state. For one, the covid cases are literally rising and instead of having us students stay home and do remote learning until they drop by a lot, we are having to be forced to sit in a classroom throughout the day with a stupid little mask that probably isn't doing anything to help the cases lower. There’s been a lot of positive cases in Bellport and if that doesn’t make you think to have the school closed and switch back to remote learning then I honestly don’t know what will get you to think that. Also, since there are now a lot of new variants spreading I really do believe that the schools should close and switch back to remote learning for lets say about the rest of the year don’t you think? If the school won’t close then we are all at risk to getting either getting covid or maybe one of those new variants. And to just add more stuff on, why can’t the students get the option to do remote learning for the entire school year? Some students do better in remote learning rather than in school ‘cause of distractions. Y’all are saying you want the students to be successful but how can they be if you don’t even give the students the option to do which learning they want? If they do better with remote learning then let the students have that, if they don’t then let them have in school. And the students who wanna do remote learning probably don’t wanna do boces so don’t let them do it and only have them take the classes they want along with remote learning. If they want boces then let them sign up for it, don’t force them.
