Change the New NZQA Resubmission Criteria

Change the New NZQA Resubmission Criteria
Why this petition matters
What if I were to tell you students were stressed, overwhelmed and underachieving in 2020? You would believe me. What if I were to say these features have been corresponding to our students learning this current year of 2021? You would ask why. This is due to a negative factor in the achieving criteria of NZQA. February of this year, NZQA has taken it upon themselves to remove the ability to resubmit for New Zealand High School Grades without the student's voice. Before this rule was in place, New Zealand Students were able to resubmit for minor mistakes limiting them from their potential and so Students were given the ability to resubmit from any position to a higher grade. It is because of this new regulation that students may only resubmit for grades at Not Achieved to an Achieved level. This rule limits students of potential and their capabilities. This is why I ask you to sign this petition. For 2020, students were placed through a hell of a year. But now with this new regulation, it does not benefit our learning to any extent. Please, for the benefit of our NZ students success and potential sign this petition.
