COVID-19 endangers our elderly and medically vulnerable neighbors. Early detection helps prevent spread and saves lives. We want free, accessible testing for any healthcare worker, teacher, and public transportation employee who wants it.

We urge Dr. Gloria Addo-Ayensu (Director of the Fairfax County Health Department) and Jeffrey C. McKay (Chairman At-Large of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors) to take the following steps now:

1. Establish an accessible COVID-19 testing site in Fairfax County.

2. Publish the location of the testing site on the county website and distribute this information by email to every county employee in every county department.

3. Allow any healthcare worker, teacher, or public transportation employee who wants to be tested to get a test. No pre-approval required, no test denial, no cost.
