Sabrina Weisman started this petition to Chief of Surgery Dr. Giangola and

Mr.Christopher Witkowski is a proactive, humble, personable, great hands on Director who knows all the staff and makes them feel nothing less than important. He has made all staff  in Surgery feel at home and secure. His presence as a director of Surgery is a great advantage to the outlook of Lenox Hill hospital and to the chair Dr.Giangola. He has dedicated numerous hours and hard work to see Surgery blossom. In such a short time frame he has managed to bring the practices out of the Covid phase  into a patient safe and friendly environment. How can removing him from a Directors position with no fault, deem fit to the reputation of Surgery or Lenox Hill? This is just sending a clear message to everyone striving to move up the ladder and that works to their bone, that at any given moment our hard work can be overlooked! Mr.Witkowski has intervened in every issue that arised within the practices in the past couple of months and solved all chaos. He has no shortcomings towards his job and excels at the Director position without a doubt. This is a plea to Dr.Giangola and Laura Campisi to rethink their decision of Removing Mr.Witkowski from the position of Director of Surgery. It would be a Great LOSS to the company and to the staff that dearly respect him to see him replaced. The staff has grown a fond respect for Mr.Witkowski as Director. He makes everyone feel heard and valued. Mr.Witowski makes the hospital administration aspect  strive for the same outcome as Medicine. He has come to find a system that is beneficial to patients and staff.  He has made financial decisions for the practices that advantaged the Reputation of Surgery at Lenox Hill. All leadership qualities are radiating from Mr.Witowski. This humble plea is to keep Mr.Witowski as Director of Surgery. Thank you!
