In public restrooms around the world, women have a place to dispose of their feminine products inside the bathroom stall without the inconvenience of carrying a bloody tampon or pad through the bathroom to the trash can. At The Weiss School, that is the reality many young girls have to face. 

In recent years, girls have started menstruating at younger and younger ages with the current age range being from around 8-14 years old. Students at The Weiss School are those ages, and for developing girls to not have to face the embarrassment of essentially putting their private information on display, they are learning to dread going to school during their monthly menstrual cycle. 

So please, for the privacy and the health of our students, I implore you to put feminine product disposal boxes in the middle school and intermediate girls bathrooms. Or at the very least small lidded trash cans in each stall that are cleaned regularly.
