A J started this petition to Dr. David Bromwell (Superintendent of DCPS)

School started for DCPS students on August 30th- September 1st. As of September 3rd more than 50 students have been sent home and quarantined at NDHS and many other students have been sent home and quarantined from other schools in the county. These students are not able to do work from home as virtual learning was not offered for students, so they will have to catch up after their 7-10 day quarantine. Masks are not worn properly in school buildings and this rule SHOULD be enforced after the Maryland School Board decided that masks were mandatory in schools. I feel like attending in person school should be optional with virtual learning available to students, especially since DOCO has one of the highest number of cases (and is still on a consistent rise). You can contact DCPS' superintendent via. email bromwelld@dcpsmd.org or by phone 410-228-4747 ext. 1002
