Keep MAED 301 and 302, and SCI 301, 302, and 303 required in Fredonia's Education Degrees

The classes MAED 301 and 302, and SCI 301, 302, and 303 are in jeopardy of being removed as required courses for the Early Childhood, Childhood, Childhood Inclusive, and Early/Childhood Education degrees. These courses have helped make us stronger teachers. Through these courses future teacher candidates are introduced to methods that can be used in field placements and eventually student teaching. Without the MAED and SCI courses, candidates would not be as prepared to teach in those content areas, especially in general education classrooms where teachers are required to teach all subjects. Please help us to make the College of Education, and State University of New York at Fredonia realize that students who have taken these courses have benefited from them.
