Since the beginning of the pandemic, Manitoba's teachers have been expected to do the impossible, all while putting themselves in harm's way. Most children with COVID-19 have mild symptoms or have no symptoms at all. Teachers are likely exposed to COVID-19 more than we can even measure. They should be treated as some of our most valued and at-risk essential workers and should be among some of the first Manitobans to be vaccinated.
