We go to the Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School. Every morning in the school cafeteria Mr. Bates yells at the students. He says that if you do not have breakfast or are seated you must go outside. The students sit in the cafe because of the below-freezing temperatures and calmly sit with friends. Students are forced to either buy breakfast or go outside or extremely cold weather.   Some tables are filled with students so one kid must stand right next to the table or at the end. This is a ridiculous rule. No one is running around or being silly, it's just kids calmly sitting and standing. We are all extremely sick of having Mr. Bates yell at us for calmly sitting. It's very annoying trying to have a conversation or finish up homework while he is yelling into a mic every five seconds. For students in the school, you can help even more by standing in protest. Please help our cause. Thank you.
