Over the years the groundhogs in the quad, have grown to become both loved and adored by both students and faculty. As the University begins to initiate its Strategic Integrated Plan, the preservation of our furry friends (commonly referred to as Chonkers) may be threatened. We cannot let this happen. Our demands are as follows: 
1. That the University consider renaming The Quad to Chonkers Nation. 
2. That the plot of land now referred to as The Quad be given sovereign status from the rest of campus. 
3. That the University allows the formation of a Chonkers Union. 
4. That the University gives the Chonkers Union the ability to deal with any individual caught disrespecting a Chonkers. 

These possible courses of action simply seek to preserve the presence of groundhogs on campus.
