Top private Universities are in such a bad condition they don't even bother to have concern about the students living in their campuses. This is the Truth about Amity University, Noida campus.
All these advertisements of No.1 Campus are just Fake. Students are kept as Hostages there. The Hostel rooms and Hostel Management is a Total Nightmare. Basements are allotted in the name of Hostel rooms. And the Hostel management does not bother about students living in Cells with no single window for the Light to pass in. Last night there was rain and the Complete Basement is flooded.
From the Day 1 we are requesting the Management to change the rooms for the students but there is no action taken with regard to it.
I have written emails to President and Vice-chancellor and there is no reply till date.
And now after all of this if we withdraw the Hostel, Amity will deduct 16000 rupees for the INCONVENIENCE CAUSED TO THEM.

Here is the Copy of the Email written to Amity President (Dr. Atul Chauhan) and Vice-chancellor  (Dr. Balwinder Shukla)

"Dear Sir,

This is regarding the Hostel Rooms which are been allotted to students and Staff of Hostel Management and Administration. Our ward is in 2nd year BFA program in Amity School of Fine Arts, Noida Campus, AUUP. She was a hosteller is 1st year and this year too we decided to take the Hostel. We submitted the hostel fees and registered for the Hostel. The room allotted to our ward is in H2 Basement. The room is very small and there is no single window in the room. Rooms are very poorly ventilated or I must say there is no ventilation at all. Maids told us that the Basement was kept closed for past couple of years and this year it is opened for students to live in.

We had a talk with the hostel warden for changing the room; she refused and told us to talk with Mrs. Chaya in this regard. Also, when we told her about the poor ventilation she was continuously telling us that “Ventilation Nahi hai par Room Clean Hai na?”. What kind of reply was that? It is not a hostel room; it is dark room where there are no openings for Light of Air to come across. Also, there are huge problems of Rats, Mosquitoes and other insects.

I went to have a talk with Mrs. Chaya about this matter. She kept me waiting outside the Registration Hall and didn’t showed up. She told the student to not to include Parents in this, and not to talk about Changing the rooms as there are lot of requests are coming up and they cannot entertain all at same time.

Behavior of Mrs. Chaya is rude and very unpleasant to parents, she was literally yelling at parents in front of me and arguing with them. Also, she wasn’t ready to even listen about the problems and just ignoring the students.  This kind of behavior with the parents is not acceptable and strict action must be taken.  She was telling that you have to live there for at least one month.

Sir, I just want to ask one simple question. Why the Hostel Administration Decide to keep the students in that basement at the first place?

I request you to Kindly forward this to concerned departments and ask them to change the rooms of the students who are currently living in the basement rooms at the earliest. Every Single night in that room is a Nightmare for the Students."
