Augustana recently let go Dr. Andrew Strandjord in the chemistry department. They are questioning his teaching abilities. If you were to ask anyone who has had him as a professor, they will go on and on about the impact he has had on his students. Among many phenomenal professors here at Augie, he by far is one of the greatest. Dr. Strandjord always made extra time to help me with his classes in and out of class. Chemistry was hard for me to understand, but he was kind and patient. He always made me feel capable and intelligent. He always had a way of making his classes entertaining and there’s no doubt that he is passionate about teaching. Please sign and help him get his job back (he will be reapplying for the same position).

He does not deserve to be let go and he needs his job back. He has made an impact at Augie and has helped ALL OF HIS STUDENTS thrive. 

He is emailing former students pleading for his job back. He is requesting that those of you have had him as a professor email these following emails explaining why he should get his job back. We don’t want his position filled:
