As we all know that The University Grants Commission of India issued a circular [(D.O.No.F. I -l 12020 NGC (Tf -C OVID- I 9/Fee)] stating that during this dire situation of COVID-19, all colleges must consider sympathetically regarding the payment of fees. Despite that, our college INSTITUTE OF GENETIC ENGINEERING, is demanding us to pay our fees by 15th July. They issued a circular on 30th June regarding the same. It gives us a very less time of 15 days where most of the students are not even in the condition of paying the semester fee of Rs 28000. Most of the families are struggling to even get their basic amenities, since there has been a spike of unemployment due to this pandemic situation.
Many places in Kolkata are still marked as red zones and are undergoing a strict lockdown. It is impossible for many to even step out of the house. In a situation like this OUR COLLEGE MUST CONSIDER REGARDING THE PAYMENT OF FEES.
