Dear Supporters,

The recent issue of bullying at Jadavpur University which resulted in the death (under suspicious circumstances) of a young undergraduate student, has left us shaken and enraged.

Please refer to the attached statement from The One Million against Abuse Foundation, expressing solidarity with survivors. We are here to support those who need help. We have copied the text incase the image is not entirely visible.

In solidarity,

One Million against Abuse

A message of solidarity with survivors of bullying and harassment

The One Million against Abuse Foundation strongly condemns all forms of bullying and harassment, and extends it condolences with the family and loved ones of the deceased student. We will not share visuals of the student owing to their being a minor and request that those who choose to post about this incident remain mindful of this, along with POCSO laws.

Moving forward, we offer support to those who are currently experiencing bullying, be it online or in school/college/workplace. In the event that you or someone you know is being victimised, please email onemillionagainstabuse@gmail.com.

You could also send us a message on Facebook or Instagram For those facing online harassment, we have the "Shontu: United against Online Harassment" team that can be contacted on www.facebook.com/helloshontu
