On July 31st the village of downers grove without any explanation covered up the hearts at the intersection of Woodward ave and Prairie. These hearts not only represented the block of Woodward ave but also the community. In a time of unprecedented events these hearts represent love and support for others not only on our block but as well as a community. As many people have been affected by many different events that have occurred this year. This shows that we are all in this together and these hearts represent love and unity within our community. By the village covering up this beautiful street art that has brought many smiles and heartwarming feelings too many in the community and surrounding towns was taken away today with no explanation. The heart should be brought back, please sign this petition and show your support.
