Imagine this. You are leaving Rock Canyon to go out to lunch with your friends. Everyone agrees that you guys want to go eat Chick-Fil-A and everybody is excited and ready to go. You know that the line at Chick will be long and you need to get back on time. But due to how short the light leaving school on McArthur Ranch Road, you can't make it to Chick on time. Now, you have to settle for Taco Bell. This is a problem that needs to be solved. Due to the large volume of people leaving school during lunch, there needs to be a longer green light to be able to let more people out on time. On average, it only lets out 5-6 cars at a time. With this petition, we can make a change and help convince Douglas County to make this change and help the students of Canyon. Thank you for your time.
