This petition has been made to stop Dougie Poynter from the band McFly but Dougie in his own right from deleting Instagram. He talked about deleting on discord on the 29th October.  This may have been a Dougie wind up/joke but were taking no chances.

Please sign if you’d like Dougie to stay on Instagram. Personally for me Instagram is the best social media platform, it has nice people and you can interact with people easily. You can control what you want on there. 

We would be really sad if you left and would see no point in carrying on our accounts for you if you left. Deleting is so Permanent, the great thing about Instagram is you can come and go on the app. Deleting would delete and tone of memories for a lot of us and for you. Not everyone has discord or likes the app so can’t keep up with things on there.

We love you and the things you post on Instagram. Honestly don’t think you realise how may people you help with there life, happiness/ mental health. So many people have made friends through you and Instagram and that’s really incredible and special. 

You are an incredible human and even that one post or story brightens people’s day. 

I personally don’t think I’d be here today without you and the friends I’ve made through you. Honestly you are a wonderful humans and if you went a light would go out in the world.

We need more people like you sharing jokes, sharing about important issues like the Climate Crisis. We understand you like your privacy which is fair enough but please don’t delete!
