Thank you -- and a response to Walmart
Jan 29, 2014 — Thank you to so many of you who have taken action to support my campaign on Facebook and Twitter! Some of you may have received a response from Walmart indicating that their firing of Kyle was for other reasons and I would like to set the record straight. Kyle had only received critical feedback twice: once when he delayed his lunch break because he was in the process of helping a customer; and once for being misinformed about the store’s check cashing services – a mistake he never made again. The reality is that Kyle was a good employee who was promoted during his time working at Walmart and the only reason his manager gave him for being terminated was the ad match issue. Please continue to join me in asking Walmart to reconsider and give Kyle another opportunity.
