Yesterday I read a post about My Dog Cafe and Bar having to close due to eviction from the sale of their location (following a massive rent increase). After all the lockdowns, struggling to stay afloat with loans, Wendy Perron’s business is being taken from her just as she starts to get things back on track. This needs to stop! Commercial evictions need to be suspended until business have a chance to regain ground lost during this pandemic! Our small business need better protection from rent gouging and eviction!
