Covid-19 has been a struggle for us all, but one industry is taking a beating more than others that industry is the restaurant industry.

Global released an article about this issue.
https://globalnews.ca/news/7432887/restaurants-ask-ontario-explain-covid19-data/

Inside the article:

"A document released yesterday (October 29th 2020) by the province showed that in four COVID-19 hot spots — where indoor dining is currently banned — the proportion of outbreaks linked to restaurants and bars between Aug. 1 and Oct. 24 ranged between 3.2 and 27.14 per cent."

The article also says other sectors have a much larger percentage of cases.

According to CTV, 1.2 million Canadians are employed in the restaurant industry with an annual payroll of $30 billion. We cannot afford to lose this industry. Too many jobs depend on this industry.

Not only are the measures not currently working, but these measures also have no science behind them.
We need our restaurants open, our restaurants are safe. People are trying to support restaurants as much as possible, but the restrictions are a death sentence.

What am I asking
I am asking the government to re-evaluate the restrictions put upon this entire industry. 50% of fire capacity, a maximum of 6 people per table, and liquor licenses to be reinstated to midnight.

Thank you for supporting this much-needed industry.
