Make our sidewalks butt-free!

Cigarette butts fill our sidewalks and grass everywhere!! It is proven that small animals such as bunnies, cats and even dogs are attracted to the smell of cigarettes and cigarette butts and will even eat them. This unhealthy habit may be a choice for some people, but it’s not for small animals.Even impressionable children who see them can even be encouraged to smoke by seeing butts on the ground, and even picking them up to examine them like kids do. In all designated smoking areas there should be a proper disposal for butts to stop smokers from throwing them on the ground. This will reduce youth smoking, littering, and animals that die a painful death of cancer or clogged passages who don’t deserve it.
