The over-sexualization of Teenage girls is a major up-and-coming issue, especially for young girls trying to navigate the transition from children to young adults. Seeing older women on social media, as well as tv show characters that they may look up to being oversexualized and seen only for their bodies promotes the wrong message to them. Making others aware of the true impacts that social media/television has on how women are viewed is the first step to solving this problem!
