Kingston police department in Canada, Ontario has shown unprofessionalism, lack of training, lack of communication skills, being uneducated on mental health wellness checks. Which has resulted in physical mental and emotional abuse towards a personal with health concerns and seizures.

Kingston police department responded to a wellness check on said person, who stated she needed a moment to re collect herself after having a anxiety attack, police compiled to allow her to calm down which resulted in them man handling her with extreame force. There were multiple law enforcement officers who chose to restrain her causing her to hit her head and have a second seizure. The victims spouce was recording the traumatizing scene while the officer was discriminating against the well being of the children while another parent was assisting them. Instead of peacefully removing the victim from the home they drug her out with no shoes, the victim in fear and police refusing to aknoweding the medical attention the victim needed. Paramedics didn't want to intervine on the brutal incident, this lead to her going to the hospital, lots of physical abuse from police boot marks on her back, marks up her arms and bruises around her throat.

I believe in order for this type of police brutality to end police or anyone who works with law enforcement should be properly trained to encounter and handle a personal with mental health/health issues in an appropriate manner, aknoweding health conditions, listening to the victim. This is not how a citizen should feel -intimadation, fear of police. Officers should be required to de-esculate before using force, using specific guidelines to respond to specific situations, restricting or banning chokeholds and strangleholds, establishing other officers to intervene if one of their colleagues is using any kind of abuse and requiring officers to report colleagues, all uses of force or attempt use of force.
