Online school is not working and not a viable option for most people with jobs and more than one child.  If grocery stores can safely operate with masks and plexiglass shields, schools can as well.  It's been proven that school age children are the least effected by this disease, and teachers can adopt all the same measures to protect themselves as paramedics and nurses.  As a single father with a full time job, 2 school age kids and an 18 month old toddler at home, I am unable to give both kids the instruction they need to navigate online school.  These kids already have lost a quarter of last year and are going to further fall behind in their education and it's simply not acceptable.  Zoom meetings and Google slides with all the distractions of home, is not going to be successful. These schools have had since March to safe guard the physical buildings at the school and have utterly failed in favor of online schooling.  Please sign this petition if you want to send our kids back to the classroom now!
