Change their "no stroller" policy
Mothers who who enter the store are offered the option to shop while carrying their child(ren) around the store in arms, leave their child in the stroller unattended at the front of the store, or shop elsewhere. Several times I have attempted to enter the store and have seen impoverished mothers desperate for discount prices, forced to leave their children unattended at the front of the store. I have seen up to ten strollers sitting in the front of this location at one time. I am the mother of twin one year old boys. And when I entered the store on a particular occasion, I was presented with the option to abandon my children at the front, shop while carrying twin boys around, or shop elsewhere. The store owner was not willing to make an exception regardless of the fact that I had two babies. And clearly stated that his interest was profit and not ensuring that his widest consumer base ---mothers--- could shop comfortably and safely with their children.
