Remove Boulders and Barriers from Culdaff Beach

Remove Boulders and Barriers from Culdaff Beach
Why this petition matters
Donegal County Council has decided to put up height restriction Barriers on The Culdaff Blue Flag beach.
This restricts entrance to the likes of tourists with campervans, vans, vehicles for the disabled as well as 2 local businesses/trades that have been parked in the beach car park for over 2 years providing local people with coffees and bakes and snacks as well as ice cream for the kids.
During the winter months the Coffee Hub was there every weekend supplying hot beverages to all visitors to the beach. Especially now with more and more people taking the plunge and trying out sea swimming
In the summer months, kids have always been delighted to see an ice cream van parked at the beach. Especially such a much loved and popular safe place.
The height barriers would impact the local trade as well as the tourists coming to visit. For years there was never an issues and barriers were never needed. Why now?
Also none of the locals were even made aware that this was happening and boulders were put in place, making the car park now currently look like a war zone.
Please sign the petition if you are against these changes and to help keep our local trades at the beach in Business. Culdaff beach has always been perfect...let's keep it that way
