In 2015, customers filed a lawsuit against the company stating that the corporation regularly imported cocoa beans from suppliers who use child labor, including trafficked and forced child labor. Specifically, Nestle imports cocoa beans from plantations in the Ivory Coast, according to the complaints. However in 2016, this lawsuit was dismissed. Nestle does not follow the Universal Declaration of Human Rights because the children working in these factories are subject to unfair treatment, pay, and working conditions. The UDHR does not stand for slavery or servitude, bad working conditions, and unfair pay. By signing this petition, you are spreading the word about Nestle's Child Labor. Thank you.
