Jennifer Barajas started this petition to Donald trump and

After a Trump administration policy change, many people, especially children, with life threatening diseases and illnesses who have previously been welcomed to the United States to receive medical treatment not available in their home countries, are now at risk of being sent to their country to die. One case in particular that has touched our hearts is the case of Jonathan Sanchez, a young man with cystic fibrosis (CF). Without the proper preventative medications and daily chest percussion treatments available to him in the United States, he will certainly face a slow and painful death if he is sent back to Honduras and awaits the eventual lung failure that these treatments help to prevent, or at least delay. His family has already lost his sister to this disease while living in Honduras because she was not properly diagnosed. See a little more about his family's story here:

What is cystic fibrosis? It is a progressive disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. Our daughter has cystic fibrosis and I can't imagine knowing that there are treatments and medications available to improve her lung function and extend her life (there is not cure), but not have access to these. See here for more information:

However, this is not only about CF. This is about all the children and adults that have been welcomed into the United States to receive the medical care that they need and deserve, and are now facing the possibility of an abrupt deportation. Please, tell our lawmakers and the president that this is not acceptable!! People should not be forced to die because they cannot receive the medical care that they need. Please sign and help today!!
