Fire White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway For Conflicts of Interest

Kellyanne Conway, White House Counselor, broke ethics laws on February 9, 2017. The White House says she was "counseled" which is ironic because her job title is "counselor." Lets make the best out of a bad administration. Sign this petition and share the link with your friends!
Conway was sworn in on January 22, 2017, pledging her allegiance to the United States and promising to do her job as White House Counselor as well as she can. The oath Conway said was, "I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter."
In her role, Conway is required to "...not use their Government positions to suggest that the agency or any part of the executive branch endorses an organization (including a nonprofit organization), product, service, or person," according to United States Office of Government Ethics. (https://oge.gov/web/oge.nsf/Resources/Endorsing+Organizations,+Products,+or+Persons). The USOGE also says that "an employee shall not use his public office for his own private gain, for the endorsement of any product, service or enterprise, or for the private gain of friends, relatives, or persons with whom the employee is affiliated in a nongovernmental capacity..." (https://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/CFR-2012-title5-vol3/pdf/CFR-2012-title5-vol3-sec2635-702.pdf).
Kellyanne Conway broke this rule when she endorsed Ivanka Trump's clothing line. Yes, Ivanka Trump, President Donald Trump's daughter. Conway endorsed this product on Fox and Friends which aires live on national television. Conway said "go buy Ivanka's stuff is what I would say." Conway said this after practically bragging about Ivanka Trump's business growth. Deputy Counsel to President Trump Stefan C. Passantino, who handles White House ethics issues, said on February 28, 2017 that his office concluded Kellyanne Conway was speaking in a “light, offhand manner.”
Conway's actions were wrong, and certainly doesn't make her fit to be an advisor to our president. Join together to clean up our federal government by signing this petition. Once we reach our goal with this petition in terms of the amount of signers, we will send copies to congress and Donald Trump. In the words of Hellen Keller, "alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."
