This is a call to boycott  5 major U.S. corporations until the United States ends its policy of removing children from their parents at the border. By signing this petition you are saying you've had it with the inhumane treatment of children by our own government and you are willing to boycott 5 corporations in an effort to send a message to our government that you will not stand for this atrocity. The purpose of the petition is to add some fuel to this movement. The more signatures we get - the more likely we are to get more signatures - and the more power this boycott will have.

Please sign and pass it on.

As many of you are aware: our government is currently involved in the practice of removing children and babies from their families at the border and placing them in camps, often cages, possibly to never be seen again by their parents. At some point in time - WE THE PEOPLE have to stand up and say enough is enough.

This is a petition that states we will take DIRECT ACTION TODAY to boycott specific corporations (see list below) until this atrocity stops. This boycott has one simple demand: stop the separation of children from their parents at the border.

Below is a list of the top 5 corporations that would be easiest to boycott, across the country, for an indeterminate period of time.*** Our own U.S. History has shown that a boycott is the quickest means to an end: that our government does not listen to petitions, or marches - but they will listen to money. If we can get these companies to pay attention - you bet they'll get the attention of our government.

The 5 corporations to boycott are as follows:

Apple Inc.

By signing this petition you are saying: I will not spend my dollars on any product or service that these organizations sell until our government stops this inhumane policy of taking children away from their parents at the border.

If you currently own a product from these corporations -it does not mean you need to get rid of it. The idea is to stop the funnel of new money into these corporations - to get their attention - so that they get the attention of our government and demand a change.

***When we say "easiest to boycott" we mean we took into account some factors:

1. Much larger corporations, like Proctor and Gamble, literally own thousands of products and it would be hard to keep up with that list.

2. Other large corporations that would be easy to add to this list, like Wal-Mart, are not on this list because in some areas of the country Wal-Mart is the only major store to shop at, same reasoning as to why and gas and utility companies are not on this list.

3. Banks and mobile service companies did not make the list because many people are tied into contracts, and have multiple accounts at their institutions, making a boycott, extremely complicated.

4. The idea here was to pick 5 corporations - that would have the highest impact and be easy to boycott for an indeterminate amount of time.
