The past few weeks in the United States have put forth a chain of events that is completely unprecedented in U.S. history. There has never been a time like this in American history. Almost all of America's working population is being forced to stay home and cannot go to work and thus cannot make income to pay their bills. A stimulus of $1200 is not enough to prevent the detrimental economic effects this is going to have on the United States economy and the American people. Consider the amount of potential homeless, rise in crime, etc that could come about from these events.

The entire world is being affected by COVID-19. I am suggesting a kind of idea I have never seen suggested, and certainly not by anyone during this crisis. Not to the extent I am going to go. Please consider this message.

Waive all rent and mortgage payments across the board throughout the entire United States for 3 months. The renter does not pay his\her rent, her landlord doesn't pay his\her mortgage/rent, and effectively the only people who take a hit here primarily are the banks. Those who own banks are generally, extremely rich, and I am sorry JPMorganChase, but this is a national emergency, the likes of which we have never seen, and you may have to take a hit into your profits for the benefit of the entire country, to prevent entire economic collapse of the nation. This is my suggestion. I have not heard anything like this being discussed on TV, internet, ultimately not within the government press releases or in the media. Please consider it, and even if you don't go through with it, find a better solution and enact something similar. You cannot expect people to not work for several weeks and continue like nothing has changed. If this goes on for several months, we face complete collapse.
