Social Media Regulations is a solution to fake news.

What is fake news?

Fake news is untrue rumors, stories, details, etc. Fake news is a serious issue as it can even spread faster than the truth. Fake news can be seen on many media websites and It may be difficult to tell whether or not it may be true or not. Anybody could spreading misinformation publicly on platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, etc. Not everyone is telling the truth and here's why that's dreadful.

Why is Fake News so Crucial to Get Rid of

First, this can cause controversy and conflict. This can cause fights, arguments, and/or bullying, etc. People who are affected may get mentally or physically hurt. It can deeply affect people in bad ways reputations can get ruined and hatred can be spread.

Secondly, people will not be able to turn to reliable sources to get the news they want. How would people get the information they need if they media is filled with many different kinds of fake news sources they can't rely on? The media is filled with children and the things they read of the media they will most likely believe and spread it with friends, family, and others.

A real life example of this issue was in 2013 Boston Marathon Bombing tragedy. People on both Reddit and Twitter have spread information that is false at frightening speeds. People were suspecting and falsely accusing individuals in the bombing. You may be accusing innocent people of a capital crime.

What can you do to help with this Issue?

The average person or reader can contribute to this solution by supporting groups that fund-raise to install better Social Media Regulations.

How can the President solve this problem?

The President can help solve this issue by terminating all fake news websites repeatedly reported by readers to stop the spreading of fake news.
