I am an advocate for our law enforcement and I understand the danger they out themselves in on a daily basis.

I am a firm believer that we need laws that will require law enforcement officers to participate in psychiatric evaluations before they are allowed to finish training.

I also believe there should be a yearly evaluation and training on all officers to be recertified as an officer.

There are many programs such as M.A.N.D.T and N.A.P.P.I that can assist in lowering incidents as we have seen with George Floyd and many others.

These programs also explain the dangers of individuals being restrained that could lead to death.

These laws will protect everyone much better and will lead to a more peaceful nation.

Our first priority as a president and nation's leaders are to keep our country safe.

We are not safe if we have people in our community who at times will abuse the power given to them without knowledge of their mental health and history of violence.

The officer who murdered George Floyd had 19 sitations against him. He obviously had many mental health issues that were ignored 

Working in mental health, if I had 19 sitations against the individuals I served then I would have been fired.

This incident could have been avoided had it not been ignored.

We cannot turn a blind eye to this while people are being abused or killed.

These programs are only 3 days out a year to be recertified. It can save hundreds of lives.
