Prisons were not built for a pandemic of this magnitude, if social distancing can not be achieved the population of incarcerated people needs to be decreased. I have not seen my son in 7 months, Oregon thought it was a good idea to switch phone/video systems in the midst of a pandemic which has brought nothing but frustration and less communication during this time.

While dispenseries are considered essential, no one should be in prison for nonviolent marijuana possession crimes.

People should not be locked up for marijuana charges with it now being a growing, profitable industry. These are not violent criminals.

How is fair that people can make millions off of marijuana while other remain imprisoned for past convictions. Everybody else walking around making money. Just watch “Most Expensivist” and you will see exactly what I’m talking about.
