PETITION FOR U.S. GOVERNMENT TO DECLARE STATE OF EMERGENCY IN COMBATTING THE CORONAVIRUS

On March 4, 2020, Florida Governor Ron Desantis declared a state of emergency after two people in Florida tested “presumptively positive” for the coronavirus.

On March 5, 2020, California declared a state of emergency after announcing its first coronavirus death, bringing the total US death toll from the coronavirus to 11.

Again, on March 5, 2020, Washington State Governor Jay Inslee declared a state of emergency after cases in Washington increased to 70 with death toll increasing to 11.

Again, on March 5, 2020, Congress approved an $8.3 billion emergency spending bill to fight the coronavirus.

Yet, the United States has not declared a state of emergency. The only way to combat this virus is to fight it from top to bottom. Many states need federal assistance to combat this virus which threatens all humans alike not discriminating between state, nationality, race, gender, sex, or religion. Please help me raise awareness in petitioning to the U.S. Government to declare a federal state of emergency to combat the coronavirus.

DECLARE FEDERAL STATE OF EMERGENCY NOW TO SAVE LIVES!!!
