WHEREAS there are over 20 million undergraduate and graduate students between the ages of 18 and 24, as essentially all have been immensely impacted by the global coronavirus pandemic. There is a multitude of these individuals that pay rent, bills, food and many other schooling and living expenses, additionally many may even help support their own families. While many perform work study and work a full time or part time job among attending higher education and abundance playing sports as well have been laid off or displaced. Meanwhile millions of Americans file for unemployment and most will go weeks or all together without financial assistance, this recently signed act has oversighted a majority of American’s that rightfully deserve compensation for those who are able to fight for this country, vote for its representatives, and pay taxes but a blunder in the assistance for those who shall be extensive to this country’s future.

 

WE the undersigned undergraduate and graduate students in The United States of America, in accordance to the CARES act regarding the Covid-19 stimulus relief package, petition the United States Government for a revision of the qualifications for the coronavirus aid fund.
