This petition is VITAL for parents and college kids in this time of need.

Imagine a mother who just lost her job or had hours cut, having to pay double the amount of GROCERIES, UTILITY BILLS and other living expenses now that their child is home unexpectedly.

Think about college kids who don’t have access to a printer, fax machine, ink, wi-fi, or a laptop to complete their college courses. And they can’t find jobs to support themselves or make it easier on their parents because companies aren’t hiring.

This leaves parents in a vulnerable financial position considering the $1,200 or $2,400 dollar stimulus check is nowhere near enough to cover ONE MONTH of rent or mortgage.

If we can’t help our mothers or young adults but provide BILLION DOLLAR BAIL OUTS, we should be ashamed as a country. The least we can do as a country is provide our parents with a $500 dollar credit to assist the immediate life change, increase in bills, assistance to children who are in college and need supplies to finish their studies and for pain and suffering.

Please support by signing this petition so we have a chance at rolling back this portion of the CARES ACT ( stimulus bill ) and assisting parents immediately!
