There are so many woman who have to go back to work sooner than they would like and have to give their baby to a childcare facility when they would rather raise them for the first year. Woman should have the choice to stay home the first year with pay. I was at my job for 15 years and quit after 4 months maternity leave because it would have broken my heart to go back so soon. This is an issue, that should have been a instance where I could receive payment.  Woman want to watch there babies grow up and see the milestones. You don't know the pain of pushing out a child, or getting cut in half to get the child taken out until you've done it. They tell you it'll take a year for your organs to fall back into place. But it's perfectly fine to work during that? No. Wrong! Woman need this! Families need this! Children need this. It's already being done in some European countries. And it's proven to be developmentally better for the child to bond with their mother. This needs to change. It's 2019. This is truely just a passion of mine and I believe this will help families for the better. I hope together we can make a change for the woman of the future.
