Christian Schilling started this petition to President Donald J. Trump and

My sister has a rare condition called 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome that when she was born caused side effects that have affected her everyday of her life. It is a little known defect that can be life threatening if not caught quickly after birth.

Luckily for us, Hannah was given a blessing life with the help of her amazing medical staff at CHOP (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia). Today she is a sophomore at Millersville University and is thriving as the newly elected social chair president.

Hannah has made it her main goal in life to raise awareness of her disease. She has gone as far as writing her own book to sell on Amazon. Writing about her experience and struggles as a person living with her condition. Rather than a crutch, she sticks to her strengths of an outgoing individual to never give up on her dreams.

As her little brother, I have nothing but pride and joy when she gets the credit she deserves, along with all of the others living with 22q.

I ask that you take some time to sign this petition to make November 22nd the official awareness day of this disease. Thank you!
