Teenagers are not supported when it comes to mental illness. I am one of these teenagers. I walk into school everyday. I feel like everyone there is staring at me and judging me. It makes me feel like my confidence is being striped down. I am in constant worry about if I have a stain on my pants, if my hair looks a mess., etc. There are many students that feel this way too. Not to mention the ones who also struggle with PTSD, ADHD, and Depression. There are many mental health problems. The counselors can only help so much. I care because I am one of these people.  I feel that schools in general should have a classroom for this. Like Special ED does. I am not saying that they don't need help. I am also not saying one is worse than the other. I am saying what about the people who struggle with the feeling like they don't belong or walking into school with their heart beating out of their chest, feels like bursting into tears, head hurts, exhausted, and in constant worry that you make one wrong move and everyone laughs at you. People say anxiety is all in your head its not real, but do you really think that we want to feel like this everyday of our lives? Having anxiety is a punishment to schools. If we miss too many days we could end up putting our parents in jail for something they didn't do and we didn't cause. Or even not graduating. Schools need to recognize this because school is a big part of our lives. We do it for 12 years.
