Nurses and first responders are fighting a war against COVID-19. They are essential workers and are leaving their families to fight to save lives. Congress passed a 2 trillion dollar spending bill with no compensation or consideration of hazard pay. Please sign this petition to demand raises and a fund to pay any and all overtime hazard pay to all nurses and first responders. If the Kennedy center can receive 25 million in aid without any consideration for our nurses and first responders our politicians aren’t doing their jobs!! My signature on this petition is demanding all politicians prioritize nurses and first responders in any and all future rescue funding. We are requesting you veto any future funding bill that comes to your desk without hundreds of billions of dollars in funding for hazard pay for every nurse and first responder that is risking their life during this pandemic.
