H1B Lottery is currently dominated by Indian (70 % ) and Chinese (13 %) nationals. It is very unfair for people all over the world except for these countries. Moreover, Indian nationals mostly work for Indian consultancies which heavily depend on H1B Visas and have nothing to do with improving American Economy. This year (2020), a new registration system was introduced, which initially looked fair. However, it was a great opportunity for these consultancies to boost up their malpractice as the registration fee was as low as $10. They filed 4-5 applications per person (from their sister concerns). Some applicants got selected 4 times ! There were many  Indian consultancies who filed even though they did not have any project at hand! The statistics shows that among a total of 250,000 applications, India applies for 200,000 and China for around 40,000 and rest of them goes (10,000) to the rest of the world. This is really unfair. Lottery should take place among those countries who are causing a lottery to happen. There should be a cap until a country enters the lottery. H1B has become a work permit for Indians only. Many big companies are now deciding to stop sponsoring H1B and therefore H1B will be losing its meaning because only garbage applicants will  apply as they have higher chances of getting picked via multiple applications.
